The Offices of Technology Transfer and Commercialization at UMCP and UMB have joined together to form UM Ventures, which provides unified licensing and patenting services and joint marketing to the business community to increase efficiency and productivity.
Accreditation is being sought for a school that combines College Park’s Master of Public Health Program (MPH) in its School of Public Health with UMB’s MPH Program at the School of Medicine.
At the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Md., UMB is combining its research interests in health, law, and human services with UMCP’s science, technology, engineering, math, business, and social sciences programs.
