Health Informatics and Data Science Specialty for Undergraduates
Mission: Created degree programs in the growing field of health informatics.
MPower funds were used to explore the creation of a new degree program offering critical training in data science, informatics, and medicine, to allow students to competitively pursue work in the burgeoning field of health informatics. UMB’s Schools of Nursing and Dentistry partnered with UMCP’s College of Information Studies (iSchool).
