ABOUT THE PROJECT

A successful scholar would work with a team based at University Maryland – College Park and a team at West Virginia University on understanding developments related to legal decisions and legislative changes that impact agritourism operations both regionally and nationally.  Being on the team for this project would include working with faculty at UMCP and WVU and attending virtual meetings with Extension faculty and other experts with a background in agriculture and the environment.  The proposed project would include trips to agritourism operations to understand their common agricultural law issues.  Working on this project will also allow for future inclusion as an author on conference presentations, journal articles, and Extension publications developed from the research.
