University of Maryland Study Links Canadian Wildfire Smoke to 20% Rise in Health Issues

A new study conducted by the University of Maryland of Medicine takes a look at the long term effect of the smoke from Canadian wildfires form 2023 has on the American people.

The study revealed that of nearly 2 million patient records, medical visits for heart and lung problems rose by nearly 20% during six poor air quality days in June 2023.
